Elephant Connect was founded by Abhay Joshi and Manjiri Gokhale Joshi in the United Kingdom, a small focused tutoring practice built on the founders' combined expertise in engineering, higher education, and leadership. It quickly earned a reputation for personalised tutoring that actually works.

As word spread and demand grew, so did the team. Today, Elephant Connect is supported by 70+ specialist tutors, all UK-based, all enhanced DBS-checked, all personally interviewed and certified by the directors. Standards have never been compromised.

Recognising the needs of an increasingly international student community, Elephant Connect expanded to include the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum alongside major UK exam boards. Students from across the UK and around the world now benefit from sessions delivered both in person and online.

As more students approached the university application stage, a dedicated guidance programme was built: expert UCAS support, personal statement mentoring, and interview preparation. Over 50 students have since secured places on highly competitive programmes including Medicine, Engineering, and Law.

Crossing 1,000 students tutored was a moment of quiet pride but the number that means more is 99%, the proportion going on to their university of choice or a higher-ranking institution. That figure is the result of ten years of careful, committed, personalised teaching.

We are still growing in the number of students we serve, the subjects and levels we cover, and the impact we make on young lives. Our mission has not changed since 2015: to give every student the personalised, expert support they need to achieve more than they thought possible.
